Commercial equipment, professional chemistry
Results like these aren't possible with supermarket sprays and a domestic vacuum. Here's what our teams bring to every job.
HEPA vacuum systems
Commercial vacuums with sealed HEPA filtration capture fine dust and allergens instead of recirculating them into the air.
Hot-water carpet extractor
Professional extraction injects heated solution deep into fibres and pulls the loosened soil straight back out.
Steam cleaners
High-temperature dry steam sanitises grout, seals and hard surfaces chemical-free — ideal around children and pets.
Professional chemistry
Trade-grade degreasers, descalers and enzyme treatments matched to each surface rather than one all-purpose spray.
Colour-coded microfibre
Separate cloth systems per zone prevent cross-contamination between kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
Eco-certified products
Biodegradable, low-odour solutions that deliver a professional finish without harsh residue.

Everything you need to know about oven cleaning in London
Professional oven cleaning across London
An oven is the one appliance in a London home that quietly gets worse without anyone noticing. Fat vapour condenses on the roof and side panels, spills carbonise onto the base, and the inner door glass slowly fogs until you can no longer see what you are cooking. Wiping it down helps for a week. Removing baked-on carbon properly needs the appliance stripped, soaked and rebuilt — which is exactly what our technicians do, in your kitchen, without filling the house with caustic fumes.
We clean single ovens, double ovens, built-under and built-in appliances, hobs, extractors, microwaves and range cookers for homeowners, tenants, landlords and letting agents across London. Every job is quoted before we start, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
What a standalone oven clean includes
A standard single-oven clean covers a full strip-down and rebuild. The door is removed where the hinges allow, shelves, racks, runners, trays and the fan cover come out, and each component is treated separately so nothing is cleaned in place around baked-on deposits.
- Interior roof, base, rear and side panels degreased back to the enamel
- Racks, shelves, runners and trays soaked and scrubbed individually
- Inner and outer door glass cleared, including between the panes where the door separates safely
- Fan cover, element housing and accessible seals cleaned and checked
- Controls, handle and exterior wiped down, and the floor beneath the appliance cleaned
- Appliance rebuilt, refitted and switched on to confirm it works before we leave
Hobs, splashbacks, extractor canopies and filters, microwaves and separate grills can all be added to the same visit and are quoted together with the oven. Extractor fan cleaning covers the removable washable aluminium grease filter plus the accessible cover, grille face and surrounding surfaces; motors, blades, internal housings, electrical parts and ducting are not part of a clean.
How the appointment works
You send a photograph of the appliance, or tell us the make and type, and we confirm the price in writing. On the day the technician protects the floor and worktop, dismantles the appliance, and applies non-caustic degreaser to the interior while the removable parts soak. Carbon is then worked off with scrapers, pads and detail brushes rather than aggressive caustic dips inside your kitchen. Everything is rinsed, dried and rebuilt, and the appliance is tested before hand-back. A single oven usually takes around 90 minutes; doubles, ranges and severely carbonised appliances take two to three hours.
Equipment and products we use
Our technicians carry non-caustic, biodegradable degreasers, soaking trays, non-scratch pads, detail brushes for seals and vents, scrapers for glass, microfibre for the finish and food-safe polish for stainless steel. We deliberately avoid harsh caustic gels in occupied kitchens: they work, but they leave fumes, residue and a real risk to seals, aluminium trim and painted surfaces. Products are chosen per surface — enamel, glass, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminium each behave differently.
Transparent pricing
Standalone oven cleaning starts from £55. That is the price for a visit where oven cleaning is the reason we attend, and it covers a standard single oven. Double ovens, range cookers, AGAs, Rayburns and unusual appliances are always quoted individually from photographs, because strip-down time varies enormously between models.
This is a different figure to the £35 oven add-on you will see in the calculator. That £35 rate applies only inside an End of Tenancy Cleaning booking, where our team is already at the property cleaning the whole flat or house. If you only want the oven done, the standalone price applies. Extras such as a hob and extractor canopy, a microwave or extractor fan cleaning are added on top and confirmed before booking — see the live rates in the instant quote calculator.
Who books oven cleaning
Homeowners who have stopped enjoying cooking in a grimy kitchen. Tenants preparing for a check-out inspection where the oven is the single most commonly failed item on an inventory report. Landlords and letting agents turning a property around between tenancies. Estate agents preparing a kitchen for photography and viewings. And households hosting at Christmas, Eid or a family celebration who would rather not spend a Saturday on their knees with a scouring pad.
How to prepare
Empty the oven completely, including stored trays and pans. Clear the worktop either side of the appliance so we have somewhere to work. Make sure we can reach a sink and a power socket. If the oven has a known fault — a dropped door, a broken hinge, a perished seal, a loose handle — tell us in advance so the technician can work around it rather than discover it mid-strip-down. If parking is restricted, let us know when you book.
Honest limitations
Cleaning removes grease, carbon and staining. It does not repair damage. Enamel that has chipped, crazed or permanently discoloured through heat will still show that damage once it is clean. Door glass that is scratched or has heat marks between the panes will be clear but not flawless. Perished or hardened door seals clean up but do not regain their softness, and if a seal is failing we will tell you rather than pretend otherwise. Some very old appliances have absorbed staining into the enamel that no chemistry can lift. Doors on certain models cannot be separated safely, in which case the space between the panes cannot be reached. We will always show you the result and explain what is dirt and what is history.
Aftercare
The oven can be used straight away. Running it empty at a moderate heat for ten to fifteen minutes clears any remaining moisture and smell. To keep it in condition, wipe spills while the oven is still warm, use a tray or liner under anything likely to bubble over, and avoid caustic supermarket foams which can dull the enamel over time. Most family kitchens benefit from a professional clean every six to twelve months.

Oven Cleaning — your questions answered
A standalone oven clean starts from £55 for a standard single oven. Double ovens, range cookers and specialist appliances are confirmed from photos before we book, because the strip-down time varies a great deal between models.
They are two different things. £55 is the starting price for a visit where oven cleaning is the job we attend for. £35 is the internal single-oven add-on price available only inside an End of Tenancy booking, where our team is already on site for a full property clean.
Most single ovens take around 90 minutes. Double ovens, ranges and heavily carbonised appliances take longer, typically two to three hours.
We use non-caustic, biodegradable degreasers rather than harsh caustic gels, so there are no lingering fumes. Keep children and pets out of the kitchen while we work, simply because of tools, hot parts and dismantled components.
It will look dramatically better, and in most cases very close to new. What cleaning cannot do is reverse damage: enamel that has chipped or discoloured permanently, scratched or crazed door glass, worn door seals and heat-stained metal will still show that history after cleaning. We will tell you what to expect before we start.
Yes. Hob, splashback and extractor canopy and filters can be added to an oven booking and are quoted with the oven so you get one combined price.
Yes — extractor fan cleaning is available as an add-on. Extractor fan cleaning covers the removable washable aluminium grease filter plus the accessible cover, grille face and surrounding surfaces. Motors, blades, internal housings, electrical parts and ducting are not included.
Empty the oven of trays, pans and any stored items, clear the worktop either side of the appliance and let us know about any known faults such as a loose door, broken hinge or damaged seal. We need access to a power point and a sink.
Yes. Once the oven is reassembled and wiped down it is ready to use. Running it empty on a moderate heat for ten to fifteen minutes clears any residual moisture and smell.
Yes, but these are always quoted individually from photographs. Cast-iron and multi-oven appliances take considerably longer than a standard built-in oven.
Yes, both can be added to an oven booking. Send a photo with your enquiry and we will confirm the combined price in writing.
