Who we are

What we collect
When you use our instant quote calculator or contact form we collect the details you type in: your name, mobile number, email address and, where you choose to provide them, your property address, postcode, preferred date and any notes. We also store the selections you made in the calculator (service, property size, condition and extras) and the estimated price shown to you.
Why we use it
We use these details for one purpose: to produce your estimate and to contact you about that cleaning enquiry — for example to confirm the property details, agree a date and provide your final fixed quote. Providing an estimate you asked for, and following it up, is the legitimate interest and pre-contract basis on which we handle your details.
We do not add you to promotional email, SMS or WhatsApp campaigns because you requested an estimate. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them with third parties for marketing.
How it is stored
Enquiries are stored in our secure hosted database, which only authorised Z Home Service staff accounts can read. A copy of each enquiry is sent to our own business email inbox so the team can respond. Our website hosting, database and email delivery are provided by third-party service providers who process this data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep an accurate record of work quoted or carried out, and for the period required for our tax and accounting obligations. Enquiries that do not become bookings are removed once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, ask us to delete them, or object to us contacting you further. Email info@zhomeservice.co.uk and we will action your request. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your details, you can raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
