Areas We Cover
Z Home Service is a mobile cleaning company working across South West London. Our teams travel to the property with all equipment, chemistry and consumables — there is no shop or office to visit.
Below are the South West London areas with their own page. Whichever area you are in, the price comes from the same calculator and depends on the property rather than the postcode.
Areas with a dedicated page
Each page covers the housing typical of that area, which services suit which situations, and how booking and access work locally.
Wimbledon
Wimbledon's housing runs from purpose-built flats and mansion-block conversions near the station to large period houses on the hill. Those two ends of the market need very different visits on check-out day, so we price from the property rather than from a fixed area rate.
Raynes Park
The area is dominated by terraced and semi-detached houses, many split into flats, plus newer blocks close to the station. Shared entrances, tight kitchens and staircases are common, and they shape how we schedule and staff a job so the team can work efficiently on the day.
Kingston
Kingston has a high turnover of shared and student-let housing alongside riverside apartments and long-held family homes. That mix means we are as likely to be cleaning a heavily used four-bedroom share as a two-bedroom apartment that has barely been lived in.
Richmond
Much of Richmond's housing is older and finished to a higher specification than average: timber floors, natural stone, panelled doors and fitted joinery. Cleaning here is less about brute force and more about using the right method on each surface.
Putney
The typical Putney job is a compact flat in good structural condition that has simply been lived in hard — a kitchen that needs degreasing, a shower enclosure full of limescale and carpets that have flattened in the traffic lanes.
New Malden
Jobs here tend to be full end of tenancy cleans on larger properties, or carpet and upholstery visits in homes with kids and pets. We price from the property itself rather than a flat area rate.
Surbiton
Older properties need a gentler approach on period surfaces, so method matters as much as effort here. Whether it's a full end of tenancy clean or a standalone carpet and sofa visit, we scope from the property, not the postcode.
Wandsworth
On one side there are the Victorian and Edwardian terraces running through Wandsworth Town and out towards Earlsfield, a lot of them let to professional sharers. On the other there is the wave of riverside apartments built around the old Ram Brewery site. A check-out in one looks nothing like a check-out in the other, so we scope from the property rather than the area.
Clapham
We work here mainly for sharers coming to the end of a joint tenancy, and for the landlords and agents turning the flat around a few days later.
Battersea
Between the Commons you get period terraces: family houses with original features, timber floors and more rooms than a floor plan suggests. Around Nine Elms and the Power Station you get high-rise developments finished to a completely different specification. Same area, two different visits.
Fulham
Where a tenancy began with a thorough, photographed check-in inventory, the check-out is measured against a documented starting condition rather than a general impression. That raises the standard the clean has to reach, and it is the standard we quote to.
Mitcham
Tenancies here also tend to run longer — several years rather than a single twelve-month cycle — and that changes the work at the end of one more than anything else about the property.
Chiswick
Family lets make up a high proportion of the tenancies, which tends to mean longer stays, more lived-in wear, and properties where the surfaces themselves are part of what is being protected.
Balham
Balham's rental market turns over fast — Victorian terraced conversions along Bedford Hill and Nightingale Lane, ex-local-authority flats near Balham High Road and shared houses within walking distance of the Northern line at Balham station. Most of our work here is end of tenancy and move-out cleaning across the SW12 postcode.
Morden
Morden's housing is mostly family-sized — 1930s semi-detached homes near Morden Hall Park, flats above shops on London Road and terraces around the Northern line terminus at Morden station. Tenancies here tend to run longer, which makes the clean at the end of one a heavier job than the room count suggests.
Worcester Park
Worcester Park is a suburban patch on the Sutton–Kingston border: 1930s semis around the village centre, family homes bordering Old Malden and commuter flats near the station. Most of our KT4 work is full end of tenancy cleans on family houses and carpet and upholstery visits in occupied homes.
