Here the approach reverses. Timber floors and original features are cleaned with appropriate products, sash windows and deep skirtings are worked by hand, and the visit is longer than the room count implies because there is more detail per room.
Battersea has a steady flow of refurbishment work. Fine construction dust settles into tracks, trickle vents, sockets and the tops of doors, and needs a builders' clean rather than a domestic one before a property is presentable.
