Commercial equipment, professional chemistry
Results like these aren't possible with supermarket sprays and a domestic vacuum. Here's what our teams bring to every job.
HEPA vacuum systems
Commercial vacuums with sealed HEPA filtration capture fine dust and allergens instead of recirculating them into the air.
Hot-water carpet extractor
Professional extraction injects heated solution deep into fibres and pulls the loosened soil straight back out.
Steam cleaners
High-temperature dry steam sanitises grout, seals and hard surfaces chemical-free — ideal around children and pets.
Professional chemistry
Trade-grade degreasers, descalers and enzyme treatments matched to each surface rather than one all-purpose spray.
Colour-coded microfibre
Separate cloth systems per zone prevent cross-contamination between kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
Eco-certified products
Biodegradable, low-odour solutions that deliver a professional finish without harsh residue.

Everything you need to know about bathroom deep cleaning in London
Bathroom deep cleaning across London
London water is hard. That single fact explains most of what goes wrong in a London bathroom: a chalky film on the shower screen, dull taps, white crusting around the spout and the base of the toilet, and grout that darkens no matter how often it is wiped. Add soap residue, body oils and steam with nowhere to go, and a bathroom can look tired within a year of being installed.
A bathroom deep clean is a different job to routine cleaning. It is a methodical descale and sanitise of every surface in the room, using dwell time and the right chemistry rather than pressure and hope. We do it for homeowners who want their bathroom back, tenants facing a check-out inspection, and landlords and agents preparing a property for the next occupant.
What is included
- Limescale and soap residue removed from tiles, shower screens, taps, spouts and shower heads
- Grout scrubbed line by line and surface mould treated
- Toilet cleaned and sanitised inside and out, including the base, hinges, cistern and behind the pan
- Basin, bath, shower tray and wet-room floor descaled and rinsed
- Mirrors, glass and chrome fittings polished streak-free
- Radiator or towel rail, door, frame, handle and light switch cleaned
- Accessible vents and extractor grilles cleaned
- Floor washed, edges and skirting detailed, and the room aired
Extractor fan cleaning can be added: we remove and clean the washable aluminium grease filter, then clean the accessible cover, grille face and surrounding surfaces. Motors, blades, internal housings, electrical parts and ducting are not part of a clean.
How the service works
We start by identifying the surfaces, because natural stone, resin, acrylic, chrome, brushed metal and gold-plated fittings all react differently to descaler. Chemistry is then applied and given time to work — the dwell time is what dissolves limescale, not scrubbing. While it works we move through the room from the top down: ceiling corners and vents, tiles and walls, then screens and sanitary ware, then fittings, then the floor last so nothing lands on cleaned surfaces. Everything is rinsed thoroughly, dried and polished. A standard family bathroom typically takes 90 to 120 minutes; a wet room, a large master suite or a bathroom with years of build-up takes longer.
Equipment and products
Our technicians carry professional acidic descalers for hard-water deposits, alkaline cleaners for body oils and soap residue, anti-microbial treatments for surface mould, pH-neutral solutions for natural stone, non-scratch pads, grout brushes, detail brushes for seals and overflow openings, steam for grout and sealed surfaces, and colour-coded microfibre so nothing crosses between bathrooms and other rooms. Products are biodegradable and low odour, and the room is ventilated throughout.
Transparent pricing
Bathroom deep cleaning starts from £75. What moves the price is the size of the room, the number of fixtures, the amount of limescale and mould present, and any extras you add such as extractor fan cleaning. Additional bathrooms in the same visit are more economical than separate bookings, because the set-up is already done. Bathrooms are already covered as part of an End of Tenancy Cleaning or Deep Clean; the standalone service is for households who only need the bathroom, or for properties where the build-up needs dedicated time.
Who it suits
Households in hard-water areas who cannot get on top of limescale. Tenants preparing for a check-out where bathrooms and ovens are the most frequently flagged items. Landlords and letting agents between tenancies. Homeowners who want the bathroom reset before guests arrive or before selling. And anyone who has recently had bathroom works done and needs the dust, grout haze and sealant residue removed properly.
How to prepare
Clear toiletries, razors, cosmetics, towels and bath mats, and empty shelves, window sills and shower caddies. Remove anything valuable or breakable. Tell us in advance about natural stone, unsealed grout, worn or antique fittings, gold or brass plating, and any known leaks or loose fixtures, because these change the chemistry and pressure we use. If a shower screen has a coated finish, let us know. Access to hot water and a power socket is helpful.
Realistic limitations
Descaling removes deposits from a surface; it does not restore a surface that the deposits have already damaged. Glass that has been etched by years of hard water will be clean but may still look cloudy in patches. Chrome that has pitted or lost its plating cannot be brought back by cleaning. Grout that has crumbled, cracked or absorbed staining deep into its pores needs re-grouting, and black mould growing beneath silicone rather than on it needs the silicone cut out and replaced — both are repairs, not cleans. Persistent damp or ventilation problems will bring mould back regardless of how well the room is cleaned, and we will flag those in writing so you can address the cause.
Aftercare
The bathroom is usually usable within an hour, once surfaces are dry. If we have applied a grout or descaling treatment we will tell you how long to leave it before showering. To hold the result: squeegee the screen after showering, run the extractor or open a window for ten minutes afterwards, and keep a soft cloth handy for taps. In hard-water London a professional descale every six to twelve months keeps a bathroom from sliding back.

Bathroom Deep Clean — your questions answered
Bathroom deep cleaning starts from £75 for a standard family bathroom. The final price depends on the size of the room, the level of limescale and soap residue, and whether extras such as a full extractor fan clean are added.
Limescale and soap residue removal from tiles, grout, shower screens and taps; sanitary ware cleaned and sanitised inside and out; mirrors, chrome and fittings polished; floors scrubbed and grout lines brightened; and accessible vents and grilles cleaned.
In most cases yes. We use professional, surface-safe descalers that lift years of build-up without scratching chrome, glass or natural stone. Where limescale has etched into the glass or metal, the deposit comes off but the etching underneath remains.
Grout is scrubbed and surface mould is treated, which usually lightens it substantially. Grout that has worn away, cracked or absorbed staining deep into the pores, and black mould growing underneath silicone rather than on it, need re-grouting or re-sealing — that is a repair, not a clean.
A standard family bathroom typically takes 90 to 120 minutes. En-suites are usually quicker; wet rooms, large master suites and bathrooms with heavy build-up take longer.
Accessible vents and grilles are wiped as part of the standard bathroom clean. Extractor fan cleaning is an optional add-on: extractor fan cleaning covers the removable washable aluminium grease filter plus the accessible cover, grille face and surrounding surfaces. Motors, blades, internal housings, electrical parts and ducting are not included.
Please clear toiletries, towels, bath mats and any items from shelves, window sills and the shower so we can reach every surface. Tell us in advance about natural stone, unsealed grout, gold-plated or antique fittings so we can adjust the chemistry we use.
Yes. We use biodegradable, non-toxic chemistry and ventilate the room while working. Keep children and pets out of the bathroom until surfaces are dry.
Usually within an hour, once floors and surfaces are dry. If we have treated grout or applied a descaling dwell treatment we will tell you how long to leave it before showering.
Yes. Bathrooms are already covered within an End of Tenancy or Deep Clean booking; a dedicated bathroom descale is available where a property has particularly heavy build-up.
