How to prepare

Realistic limitations

Descaling removes deposits from a surface; it does not restore a surface that the deposits have already damaged. Glass that has been etched by years of hard water will be clean but may still look cloudy in patches. Chrome that has pitted or lost its plating cannot be brought back by cleaning.
